The BLOODY DEED of 1857

In 1857, Harvey Burdell lived at 31 Bond Street, New York City and conducted his dental practice out of his second-floor rooms. A gambler, philanderer, handsome, and wealthy, Harvey lived in obscurity until someone brutally stabbed him fifteen times on the night of January 30th, 1857.
